OUR SPEAKER
Justine Shanti Alexander PhD is a conservationist with a background in bridging research, community programming and international collaborations to strengthen wildlife conservation. She is currently the Country Director for the Wildlife Conservation Society in Mongolia. She has a PhD in snow leopard conservation from Beijing Forestry University and a Master’s degree in Conservation Science from Imperial College London. The focus of her work has been big cat conservation in Asia. Justine is particularly dedicated to finding inclusive solutions that prioritize local stakeholders and place human well-being and community resilience at the heart of conservation programmes.

As the Chair of the “Sustainability & Energy” working group at EuroChamber Mongolia, Ms. Batzul Gerelsaikhan will host number of trainings and events in relations to sustainability and energy in Mongolia.
Batzul has over 12 years of international and local management experience spanning diverse industries. Currently, she serves as the Head of the Properties Department at Erel LLC, specializing in energy-efficient housing and prefab construction. Additionally, she provides advisory services to Choijin Suites luxury serviced apartments and holds strategic roles, including Board Member of EuroChamber Mongolia and Member of Over-the-Counter (OTC) Markets’s Registration Committee of Mongolia at MASD. Previously, as the Public Relations Director at APIP Hong Kong, she oversaw editorial responsibilities for key real estate publications. Batzul’s career encompasses roles at PwC, Vivar Resources Ltd., the Mongolian Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong, and various international board positions.
She holds a BSc in Economics from the University of Copenhagen, Denmark.
